How to check proxy settings in Internet Explorer:
• Select Tools and then Internet Options.

• Click the Connections tab.

• If you are using a LAN, click the LAN Settings button.
If you are using a Dial-up or Virtual Private Network connection, select the necessary connection and click the Settings button.

• In the 'Proxy Server' area, check if the Use a proxy server for this connection or Use a proxy server for your LAN option is selected. In the Address box, you will find the proxy server address and in the Port box the port number.
