ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.
Proxy Finder module main features:
• Scan proxy web sites and extract HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy list and SOCKS proxies list
• Recognize different proxy list formats
• Import/export proxy lists capabilities

How does ProxyWay block Ad?
|
ProxyWay uses special rules to determine whether to permit or block Ad.
ProxyWay Ad blocking technology is based on two criteria: Ad size and Ad location. If Ad module is on  , ProxyWay scans web pages while downloading and compares their size and content with the list of Ad rules. If it finds Ad that matches the rule from the Ad list, it removes or allows Ad depending on the action selected in the rule. If "Auto block ad" function is on, ProxyWay automatically blocks Ad from the built-in Ad list. For more effectiveness you can combine program built-in Ad list with the list of your rules. Blocked Ad can be replaced with graphic of your own choice.

Can I temporarily turn Ad module on/off?
|
Yes. You can configure ProxyWay to meet your need in many different situations. ProxyWay modules are activated separately.
To enable Ad module:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon and click the Ad Off button  (this button shows current Ad module state) in the toolbar
or right-click the tray icon, select the open main window item and click the Ad Off button (shows current Ad module state) in the toolbar.
To disable Ad module:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon and click the Ad On button (this button shows current Ad module state) in the toolbar
or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon, select the open main window item and click the Ad On (shows current Ad module state) button in the toolbar.

How do I know how many Ads were blocked/skipped by ProxyWay?
|
Ads&Popup module main window collects statistic information that lets you monitor ProxyWay activity and shows you how many popups and ads were blocked or permitted.
To open Ad&Popup module main windows:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon and select the open main window item.
Click the Ads&Popup button

How do I add a new "block Ad" rule?

To add a new "block Ad" rule:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon and select the open main window item.
Click the Ad&Popup button
Select Ad&Popup|Ad list.
Use the Add button or right-click on the table and select add in the context menu.
Select the Ad rule condition(s) (Ad size, Ad url) - you can use them separately and together.
Select the "Kill ad" action.
Click OK.

I want to allow Ad on specific sites. How can I do it?

To add a new "allow Ad" rule:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon and select the open main window item.
Click the Ad&Popup button
Select Ad&Popup|Ad list.
Use the Add button or right-click on the table and select add in the context menu.
Select the Ad rule condition(s) (Ad size, Ad url) - you can use them separately and together.
Select the "Skip ad" action.
Click OK.
