New Features
NEW! To simlify the process of ProxyWay configuration added 'ProxyWay Auto Configuration' option. Using this option you don't need to download proxy lists, check proxies, create services and configure browser settings manually. Proxy Way will do it for you. The only one thing you should do is start surfing.
Now there are no limitations in ProxyWay Pro/Extra trial version for number of threads for proxy checking.
Fixed problem with proxy checking under Windows Vista on some PCs.
Improved 'Clear history' module (ProxyWay Pro/Extra only).

ProxyWay Ads blocking technology is based on two criteria: ads size and ads location.
If Ads module is on  , ProxyWay scans web pages while downloading and compares their size and content with the list of Ad rules. If it finds Ad that matches the rule from the Ads list, it removes or allows Ad depending on the action selected in the rule. Blocked Ads can be replaced with graphic of your own choice. So you can customize and optimize work, speed up your web surfing experience, decrease your traffic and save valuable time and money.
If "Auto block ads" function is on, ProxyWay automatically blocks Ads from the built-in Ads list. For more effectiveness you can combine program built-in Ads list with the list of your rules.

Can I temporarily turn Ads module on/off?

Yes. You can configure ProxyWay to meet your need in many different situations. ProxyWay modules are activated separately.
To enable Ads module:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon and click the Ad Off button  (this button shows current Ads module state) in the toolbar
or right-click the tray icon, select the open main window item and click the Ad Off button (shows current Ads module state) in the toolbar.
To disable Ad module:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon and click the Ad On button (this button shows current Ads module state) in the toolbar
or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon, select the open main window item and click the Ad On (shows current Ad module state) button in the toolbar.

How do I know how many Ads were blocked/skipped by ProxyWay?

To add a new "block Ads" rule:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon and select the open main window item.
Click the Ad&Popup button
Select Ad&Popup|Ad list.
Use the Add button or right-click on the table and select add in the context menu.
Select the Ads rule condition(s) (Ads size, Ads url) - you can use them separately and together.
Select the "Kill ad" action.
Click OK.

I want to allow Ads on specific sites. How can I do it?

To add a new "allow Ads" rule:
Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon and select the open main window item.
Click the Ad&Popup button
Select Ad&Popup|Ad list.
Use the Add button or right-click on the table and select add in the context menu.
Select the Ad rule condition(s) (Ads size, Ads url) - you can use them separately and together.
Select the "Skip ad" action.
Click OK.

• How can I turn on/turn off proxy settings in Internet Explorer 5.5/6.0?
To turn on proxy settings:
1. Select Tools => Internet Options.
2. Select the Connections tab.
3. If you are using LAN, click the LAN Settings button. If you are using Dial-up or Virtual Private Network connection, select the necessary connection and click the Settings button.
4. In the "Proxy Server" area, click the check box next to "Use a proxy server".
5. In fields "Address" and "port" type proxy IP and proxy port. If nessesary, enable "bypass proxy server for local addresses".
6. Click OK.
To turn off proxy settings:
1. Select Tools => Internet Options.
2. Select the Connections tab.
