ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.
Proxy Finder module main features:

Default Service Settings.
Default service settings can be defined and changed to user preference.
- Change service (per time, per request) - changes proxy services depending on your needs to ensure the absolute security.
If this option is on, ProxyWay automatically changes proxy services used for surfing every time when the selected event happens. ProxyWay uses for changing only the proxy services that are marked as "Service in Use" in the Service list.
Changing proxy service rules:
- per time - proxy service will be changed after given interval of time (min - 1 min).
- per request - proxy service will be changed after given number of requests (min - 1 request)

When ProxyWay changes the current proxy service used for surfing, one of the following methods of selection for the next proxy service (from proxy services of necessary type that are marked as "In use") can be used:
- random - select random proxy service (from the services marked as "Service in use")
- response time - select the proxy service depending on the response time (from services marked as "Service in use")
- in order - select proxy services in order (from the services marked as "Service in use")
- Stop surfing on failure - the program stops operating if the current service failed.
- Mark new created service as default - turn this option on if you want to mark a new created service as default.
- Service fails if one proxy in cascade failed - service is marked as bad if one proxy in cascade failed. If this option is off, bad proxy will be removed from the service and service will continue operating.
- Use another service if current service failed - changes the service if the current service is marked as bad. See also Service selection
- Max number of attempts to find working service - select how many attempts to find working service among services of necessary type that are marked as "In use" will be made
- Remove "In use" check mark if service failed - select this option if you want a service that failed is not used in future
- Mark proxy as bad after - proxy will be marked as bad after the set number of unsuccessful connect attempts.
- Session time out after (ms) - set the maximum response time ProxyWay will wait for response from proxy
- Auto check service - select this option if you want services are checked automatically after creation, modification, etc.

• In program Advanced Settings there is a section for checking proxies with a secure tunnel. What is a tunnel?
"Use proxy tunnel for proxy checking and proxy list updating" option is usually used if ProxyWay is installed on the computer that doesn't have a direct access to the Internet and your software/hardware gateway doesn't support NAT. In this case you need to enter IP and port number of the computer that is used as a gateway. Software on the computer that is used as a gateway must support tunneling. If you have any problems with proxies checking, we recommend you to turn this option off and try again.
