ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.
Proxy Finder module main features:
• Scan proxy web sites and extract HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy list and SOCKS proxies list

1. Add proxy servers to program proxy list
How to add proxy servers
• Select Proxy => Proxy list => Update proxy list.
• Import list of third-party proxy sites - click "Import" button, select SiteList.txt and click "Open".
• PUT the check mark in U column to select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating. Note: you can update proxy list using different urls/sites simultaneously.
• Click the Update button.
All added proxies will be checked automatically as "Auto check" option is on by default.
Note:
- If proxy sites offer information about proxy location, this informaiton will be added automatically
- Detecting proxy country/region/state using ProxyWay is available only in Activated version.
How to add CGI proxies (web proxies)
• Select Proxy => Proxy list.
• Import list of third-party CGI proxies - click "Import CGI" button, select CGIList.txt and click "Open".
2. Create a proxy service (proxy chain)
• Select Proxy => Service Manager
• Click the Add button.
• Add proxy/proxies you want to use in the service from "All proxies" table to "Proxy cascade" table.
Note:
- You cannot use HTTP proxy at the beginning or in the middle of cascade (chain) as it doesn't support tunneling.
- To hide your IP you should use anonymous and high anonymous proxies.
- If you use CGI proxy in chain, see How you can organize surfing through CGI proxies
- If there is a check mark in the Use only anonymous proxies field, only anonymous proxies will be shown in the "All proxies" table.
• Select Protocol type. Service protocol type must be the same as the type of the last proxy in cascade.
• Click OK.
• Click the Start button to start your service

1. Add proxy servers to program proxy list
How to add proxies to program proxy list:
- add proxies using Proxy Finder;
- import proxies from a local file;
- import CGI proxies from a local file;
- add proxy manually;
- add CGI proxy manually;
- add a group of proxies in IP:port using copy/paste commands;
2. Check proxies in your proxy list
• Select Proxy => Proxy list.
To check proxies, choose the proxy/proxies* you want to check and click the Check button.
* To select a group of proxies, click and hold down Ctrl or Shift button and choose the proxies.
If you need to check proxy list on a regular basis, you can use "Check proxy list Scheduler" option
You can check up to 10 threads at once using "Multithreaded proxy check" in the program Settings.
If Auto Check proxy option is on (Settings), all proxies are checked automatically. By default, this option is on.
Note:
- If proxy sites offer information about proxy location, this informaiton will be added automatically
- Detecting proxy country/region/state using ProxyWay is available only in Activated version.
- You can check proxies using internal or external script.
- "Auto delete bad proxies after checking" option (in Settings window) allows you to delete all bad proxies just after proxies checking.
ProxyWay Extra offers three options for proxy checking* (Settings):
• "Don't detect proxy location" - check proxies without detecting proxy location.
• "Detect proxy country" - check proxies with detecting proxy country (set by default)
• "Detect proxy country and state/region"** - advanced proxy checking - check proxies with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state
* Detecting proxy country/region/state is available only in Activated version.
** While checking proxy with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state only 1 thread is available. If you check proxy without detecting proxy location or detect only proxy country, you can use up to 10 threads.
Note: "detecting proxy country" while proxy checking and "adding proxy country column" while proxy list updating are different independent features. So, to add information about proxy location you should select "Add proxy column" in "Update proxy list" window. But if you need more accurate proxy location information and/or you need detailed information (proxy country, state/region), we recommend you to use "Detect proxy country location" and "Detect proxy country and state/region" ProxyWay Extra features as most sites that provide proxy lists don't use up-to-date base for detecting proxy location.

• Can my ISP monitor my online activities if I am using ProxyWay?
Because ISPs handle huge volumes of web traffic all the time, they are limited in monitoring logs. They don't have the computational resources to read and analyze the text of every web site you visit. But they can, however, keep a log of the websites you visit. When you're using ProxyWay and surfing through proxies you only connect to a proxy server. All websites you visit go through this proxy, so to your ISP it looks like you only visit one web site. But if the ISP really wanted to watch you and they agree to waste time, resources and money for analysing all your traffic, they could tap your Internet connection and actually read everything that goes back and forth. Since the data sent to proxies is not encrypted, someone who listens to the line could see what sites you're visiting. But if you visit HTTPS web sites, all information between you and a target web site is encrypted.
