Where can I find free public anonymous proxy lists?
Here is a list of some third-party sites where you can find free anonymous proxy lists - HTTP/HTTPS proxy lists, SOCKS (SOCKS4 proxy lists, SOCKS5 proxy list). Find free daily updated anonymous proxy lists (HTTP proxy servers, HTTPS proxy server list, SOCKS proxy lists). High anonymous proxy list, anonymous proxy lists, transparent proxies from different countries.
Which proxy servers (high anonymous proxy, anonymous proxy or transparent proxy) should I use for anonymous surfing?
• Transparent Proxy
These proxies are not anonymous. They don't hide IP-address of a client and let a web server know that you are surfing through a proxy server. The task of such proxies, as a rule, is information caching and/or support of Internet access for several computers via single connection. Such proxies are not applicable for security and privacy while surfing on net. You can use them only for network speed improvement.
• Anonymous Proxy servers
Anonymous proxies don't show your real IP but change the request fields so it is very easy to detect that you are using proxy.
• High Anonymous Proxy
High Anonymous proxy servers do not pass an IP-address of a client and don't send any variables indicating that you are using proxy server to host and look like real browser.

Proxy list finder
Using the Update proxy list option, you can automatically add new proxies to the program proxy list (from the proxy lists in the form of table - means proxy list is formed as table using special html tags and proxy lists in IP:port format).
- Select Proxy => Proxy list => Update proxy list.
Using the Update proxy list option, you can automatically add new proxy servers to the program proxy list.

Online proxy list update
Specify what url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating. You can update proxy list using different urls/sites simultaneously.
• Click the "Add to List" button and specify what url you want to use for proxy list updating.
• Enter the full page url where the proxy list is located (ex. for www.proxy4free.com you should enter http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html or
http://www.proxy4free.com/page2.html etc.)
• Enter IP column number, port column number (for proxy lists in the form of table).
Columns' numbers for proxy IP and port are usually as you see them. So for proxy4free.com IP column number - 1 and port column number - 2.
Note: For proxy lists in IP:port format you don't have to worry about columns' numbers.
• If you want this url is used for proxy list Auto Update (download proxy list), put the check mark in "Use this url for proxy list update".
• If you want to add information about proxy location, click "Add country column" and enter country column number.
• To add proxies (download proxies) only from certain countries, select the "Only Proxies from Specified Countries" option and select the necessary countries from the list. If you want to add all proxies, select the "Proxies from All Countries" option
• Click "Save" button.
Import proxy servers to proxy list from a local file
Using "Import proxies from a local file" feature, you can import proxies from a local file in ip:port format or HTML format in the form of table. For importing proxies from a local file, select column numbers for IP, port and country. Also see Import proxies to proxy list from a local file
- To update proxy list immediately, select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating (PUT the check mark in U column) and click the Update button.
You can use "+" and "-" buttons to select/deselect all urls in the list.
For auto update (Scheduler):
- Select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating (for proxy list download) (PUT the check mark in U column) and click the Update button. You can use "+" and "-" buttons to select/deselect all urls in the list.
- Select Proxy => Settings => Proxy list update settings.
- Turn the Scheduler on**
- Set when and how often you want to run Auto update.
- Click the Apply button.
**By default, proxy list update scheduler is off.
Note: In trial version you can't add more than 100 proxies in the proxy list.
To use a proxy server in service, check it first. You can check proxy list using internal or external script.
If Auto Check proxy option is on (Settings), all proxies added to proxy list are checked automatically.
"Auto delete bad proxies after checking" option (in Settings window) allows you delete all bad proxies just after proxies checking.

How can I improve proxy list checking using ProxyWay Extra? |
ProxyWay Extra is advanced proxy list checker software. Using ProxyWay Extra you can:
• Use "Multithread proxy check" option to check up to 10 threads simultaneously: check proxy lists for proxy speed, proxy anonymity, proxy type (HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS), proxy location (check proxy country/region/state).
• ProxyWay Extra offers three options for HTTP proxy list checking:
– to speed up proxy list checking added option for checking proxy lists without detecting proxy geo location;
– check proxy lists with detecting proxy country location;
– advanced proxy list checking - check proxy list with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state
Note: "detecting proxy country" while proxy list checking and "adding proxy country column" while proxy list updating are different independent features. So, to add information about proxy location you should select "Add proxy column" in "Update proxy list" window. But if you need more accurate proxy location information and/or you need detailed information (proxy country, state/region), we recommend you to use "Detect proxy country location" and "Detect proxy country and state/region" ProxyWay Extra features as most sites that provide proxy lists don't use up-to-date base for detecting proxy location.
• Use internal or external script for proxy list checking.
• To reduce the time of proxy list checking, you can also select only the necessary types of protocols and set the timeout for proxy list checking in milliseconds.
