  To configure another browser or application to surf the web using ProxyWay, please use the documentation for this browser or application to set the following proxy server settings: Proxy Server address "127.0.0.1" and port = ProxyWay Redirect Service port * = 81(by default)**. See also Proxy Settings.
  
  * You can adjust the application (only manual configuration) it is addressed directly to the certain service (without Redirect Service) - set port = Service port number. If so:
  • don't forget to start this Service;
  • choose the correct service type for your requests;
  • some features available in the program wouldn't be performed: change service per time/per connection; Use another service if this fail; Service Selection.

  1. Run Internet Explorer
  2. Open the Tools menu.
  3. Select Internet Options to open the Dialog box.
  4. Select the Connections tab.
  5. If you are using LAN, click the LAN Settings button.
     If you are using Dial-up or Virtual Private Network connection, select necessary connection and click the Settings button.
  6. In the "Proxy Server" area, click the check box next to Access the Internet through a proxy server.
  7. Set Proxy Server address 127.0.0.1, port=ProxyWay Redirect Service port * = 81(by default)**.
  8. Click OK

  2. Click on Cancel.
  3. Click on the "Setup" button.
  4. Click the "Connections" button.
  5. In the connection preferences window click on the "Connect using Proxy" box.
  6. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Host=127.0.0.1, port=ProxyWay Redirect Service port * = 81(by default)**.
  7. Select the protocol type of proxies you will use.
  8. Click OK

  1. Start up AOL Instant Messenger.
  2. Select My AIM => Edit options => Edit Preferences.
  3. Select Sign on/off category.
  4. Click the "Connections" button.
  5. In the connection preferences window click on the "Connect using Proxy" box.

  7. Select the protocol type of proxies you will use.
