New Features
NEW! To simlify the process of ProxyWay configuration added 'ProxyWay Auto Configuration' option. Using this option you don't need to download proxy lists, check proxies, create services and configure browser settings manually. Proxy Way will do it for you. The only one thing you should do is start surfing.
Now there are no limitations in ProxyWay Pro/Extra trial version for number of threads for proxy checking.
Fixed problem with proxy checking under Windows Vista on some PCs.

Working with CGI proxies
CGI proxy (web proxy) is a kind of buffer between you and other web resources. When you request a web page directly, you are exposing your details to the server you connect to. CGI proxies (web proxies) are web sites which allow a user to access other sites through them. A user visits a CGI proxy web site and then requests a web page, a file or other resources available on other sites. CGI proxy sends this request to the necessary site, gets "answer" and returns it to user. A CGI proxy allows a user to be anonymous and access web sites that may be restricted for users from certain countries or geographical regions. CGI proxies are frequently used to gain access to web sites blocked by corporate or school proxies. As well as hiding user's IP address and providing a way to access blocked web sites, a CGI proxy can also block scripts, cookies, images, etc. CGI proxy supports HTTP and sometimes HTTPS and FTP protocols.

surf through a proxy chain with CGI proxy - you can create proxy services with any number of proxy servers in the chain (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Auth and CGI proxies/web proxies). In the chain you can "mix" various types of proxies.

To import CGI proxies list:

- Double-click ProxyWay Pro desktop icon.
- Click the Proxy button in the toolbar

- Select Proxy => Proxy list.
- Click the Import CGI button.
- Select CGIList.txt.
- Click "Open".
To add/modify * CGI proxy (web proxy) server manually:
- Double-click ProxyWay Pro desktop icon.
- Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
- Select Proxy => Proxy list.
- Use the Add button or right-click on the table and select add in the context menu.
- Select "CGI proxy".
- Enter CGI proxy url and other information (if necessary).
- Click OK.
*You can't modify and delete CGI proxies that are used in service(s).
To delete CGI proxy server *:
- Double-click ProxyWay Pro desktop icon.
- Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
- Select Proxy => Proxy list.
- Choose the CGI proxy/proxies** you want to delete and click the Delete button or right-click on the CGI proxy and select delete in the context menu.
- Click Yes if you really want to delete the CGI proxy/proxies.
*You can't modify and delete CGI proxies that are used in services.
**To select a group of CGI proxies click and hold down Ctrl or Shift button and choose the proxies.
Create chains with CGI proxy (web proxy)
ProxyWay Pro allows you to hide your real IP from the web sites you visit. Using the program you can create proxy services with any number of proxy servers in the chain (supports HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Auth, CGI proxy) to provide IP address security and tunnel Internet activity through proxy servers. In the chain you can "mix" various types proxies. CGI proxies can be used alone or in a proxy chain with other types of proxy servers (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS).
How you can organize surfing through CGI proxies:
1. CGI proxy only.
2. Proxy chains with CGI proxies:
HTTP proxy -> CGI proxy
HTTPS and/or SOCKS proxies -> HTTP proxy -> CGI proxy
Note:
• If you use CGI proxy (web proxy) in a chain, it should be the last one in the chain.
• You must use HTTP proxy before CGI proxy
• You can't use HTTP proxy at the beginning or in the middle of cascade (chain) before SOCKS and HTTPS as it doesn't support tunneling
Change/switch CGI proxies
Using ProxyWay Pro you can automatically change proxy services per time, per connection to ensure the absolute security; automatically stop or change service if the current service is marked as bad/slow, etc.
To change CGI proxies you should create several services with CGI proxies, mark them as "In use" and configure "Change Service" option in program Settings the way you need.
