ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.
Proxy Finder module main features:
• Scan proxy web sites and extract HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy list and SOCKS proxies list

ProxyWay Proxy Checker Script |
From ProxyWay Pro/ProxyWay v.3.0 you can use external script to check proxies for proxy state, proxy anonymity and proxy speed.
You can use external script for proxy checking if:
your connection to ProxyWay.com web site is slow and you want to improve proxy checking speed;
access to ProxyWay.com is blocked by your ISP;
you want to find the fastest proxies for yourself by detecting proxy response time relevant to your location.
In this case you can download our CGI proxy checking script (written on Perl) and install it on your server. You can also use your own scripts (e.g. on PHP, ASP) if they are based on ProxyWay Proxy Checker Script

Countries List |
There are a lot of sites that provide proxy lists, only some of them contain information about proxies country location, but those who provide proxy country location information don't use the same standard for countries names (e.g. some sites use 'United Kingdom' but others use 'Great Britain', etc.).
So we created a countries list (country.dat file) with different countries names which sites with proxy lists use to show proxy servers country location.
Country.dat is a list of full country name and corresponding short country name that ProxyWay use while proxy list updating. If you find, some countries names are not included in country.dat, let us know.
If you want your version of ProxyWay uses the latest country.dat, you don't need to download and install the program again. Just download the latest country.dat and replace you program country.dat with it (by default C:\Program Files\ProxyWay\country.dat).

• I am unable to update the program proxy list. When I click the "Update" button, I get the message "Failed to process proxy update. Check your Internet connection, site url and columns' numbers". My Internet connection is OK.
• Enter the full page url where the proxy list is located (ex. for www.proxy4free.com you should enter http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html or http://www.proxy4free.com/page2.html etc.)
• Enter IP column number, port column number (for proxy lists in the form of table).
Columns' numbers for proxy IP and port are usually as you see them. So for proxy4free.com IP column number - 1 and port column number - 2.
• If you want to add information about proxy location, click "Add country column" and enter country column number.
• To add proxies only from certain countries, select the "Only Proxies from Specified Countries" option and select the necessary countries from the list. If you want to add all proxies, select the "Proxies from All Countries" option. Note: For proxy lists in IP:port format you don't have to worry about columns' numbers.
To update proxy list immediately - click the Update button.
