NEW! To simlify the process of ProxyWay configuration added 'ProxyWay Auto Configuration' option. Using this option you don't need to download proxy lists, check proxies, create services and configure browser settings manually. Proxy Way will do it for you. The only one thing you should do is start surfing.
Now there are no limitations in ProxyWay Pro/Extra trial version for number of threads for proxy checking.

CGI proxy server is a web site which allows a user to access other sites through it. CGI proxy (web proxy) sends this request to the necessary site, gets "answer" and returns it to user. A CGI proxy (web proxy) allows a user to be anonymous and access web sites that may be restricted for users from certain countries or geographical regions. CGI proxies are frequently used to gain access to web sites blocked by corporate or school proxies. As well as hiding user's IP address and providing a way to access blocked web sites, a web proxy can also block scripts, cookies, images, etc. Web proxy supports HTTP and sometimes HTTPS and FTP protocols.

CGI proxy servers (web proxy servers) anonymity
CGI proxy servers (cgi proxies) can be divided into three types according to anonymity level.
- Transparent CGI proxy
- Anonymous CGI proxy
- High Anonymous CGI proxy
Transparent CGI proxy
CGI proxy of this type is not anonymous. It doesn't hide IP-address of a client and lets a web server know that you are surfing through a proxy server.
Anonymous CGI proxy
Anonymous CGI proxy doesn't show your real IP but shows that you are using proxy.
High Anonymous CGI proxy
High anonymous CGI proxy servers do not pass an IP-address of a client and don't send any variables indicating that you are using proxy server to host.
All types of CGI proxies can be used to bypass corporate proxy, school proxy and get access to web sites blocked by your local proxy (bypass corporate proxy, school proxy, etc).
If you want to be anonymous and access web sites that may be restricted for users from certain countries or geographical regions, you should use anonymous web proxy servers and high anonymous web proxy servers.
