FREE PROXY SOFTWARE

1. Transparent - these proxies are not anonymous. They don't hide IP-address of a client and let a web server know that you are surfing through a proxy server. The task of such proxies, as a rule, is information caching and/or support of Internet access for several computers via single connection. Such proxies are not applicable for security and privacy while surfing on net. You can use them only for network speed improvement.
   
2. Anonymous - these proxies don't show your real IP but change the request fields so it is very easy to detect that you are using proxy.
3. High Anonymous - these proxy servers do not pass an IP-address of a client and don't send any variables indicating that you are using proxy server to host and look like real browser.

Online proxy list update

1. Double-click the ProxyWay tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay tray icon and select the Open main window item.
2. Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
3. Select Proxy => Proxy list => Update proxy list
   You can update proxy list using different urls/sites simultaneously.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the "Add to List" button.
5. In the "Add/Modify Url" window specify what url you want to use for proxy list updating.
   
   
   
   • Enter the full page url where the proxy list is located (ex. for www.proxy4free.com you should enter http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html or http://www.proxy4free.com/page2.html etc.)
   • Enter IP column number, port column number (for proxy lists in the form of table).
   Columns' numbers for proxy IP and port are usually as you see them. So for proxy4free.com IP column number - 1 and port column number - 2.
   Note: For proxy lists in IP:port format you don't have to worry about columns' numbers.
   • If you want this url is used for proxy list Auto Update, put the check mark in "Use this url for proxy list update".
   • If you want to add information about proxy location, click "Add country column" and enter country column number.
   • Click "Save" button.
   
   You can also update proxy list from a local file in ip:port format or HTML format in the form of table using "Import proxies" feature.
   
   
6. To update proxy list immediately, select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating (PUT the check mark in U column) and click the Update button.
   You can use "+" and "-" buttons to select/deselect all urls in the list.
   
   For proxy list auto update (Scheduler):
   • Select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating (PUT the check mark in U column) and click the Update button. You can use "+" and "-" buttons to select/deselect all urls in the list.
     
     
   • Select Proxy => Settings => Proxy list update settings.
     
     
     
     
   • Turn the Scheduler on*.
   • Set when and how often you want to run Auto update.
   • Click the Apply button.
   * By default, proxy list update scheduler is off.

Import proxy servers to proxy list from a local file

1. Double-click the ProxyWay Extra tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay Extra tray icon and select the Open main window item.
2. Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
3. Select Proxy => Proxy list => Update proxy list.
   
   Using the Update proxy list option, you can automatically add new proxies (download proxy list) to the program proxy list.

   Online proxy list update
   Specify what url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating. You can update proxy list using different urls/sites simultaneously.
   • Click the "Add to List" button and specify what url you want to use for proxy list updating.

   • To add proxies (download proxies) only from certain countries, select the "Only Proxies from Specified Countries" option and select the necessary countries from the list. If you want to add all proxies, select the "Proxies from All Countries" option

   Import proxies to proxy list from a local file
   Using "Import proxies from a local file" feature, you can import proxies from a local file in ip:port format or HTML format in the form of table. For importing proxies from a local file, select column numbers for IP, port and country. Also see Import proxies to proxy list from a local file
   
   
4. To update proxy list immediately, select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating (PUT the check mark in U column) and click the Update button.

   • Select url(s) you want to use for proxy list updating (for proxy list download) (PUT the check mark in U column) and click the Update button. You can use "+" and "-" buttons to select/deselect all urls in the list.
     
   • Select Proxy => Settings => Proxy list update settings.

3. Select Proxy => Proxy list.
4. Use the Add button or right-click on the table and select add in the context menu.
5. Fill in IP and Port fields.
6. Select proxy type.
   If you don't know the proxy type, select the "UNKNOWN" field. In this case you need to check it before using in a proxy service.
   In case you know the proxy type, select the supported type. You can use this proxy in a proxy service without the prior checking. But in this case the "Anonymity" field will be "unknown" (if you haven't checked it manually or automatically). If you check this proxy, all the supported protocols will be shown in the "Protocol" field with the selected proxy type on the first place (if it is supported).
   
   
   
   
7. Click OK.

• Connect the web site with the proxy list.
• Copy columns with proxy IP and Port.
• Click the ProxyWay Extra tray menu and select the Open main window item.
• Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
• Select Proxy => Proxy list.
• Right-click on the table and select paste in the context menu.

3. Select Proxy => Proxy list.
4. Choose the proxy you want to modify and click the Modify button or right-click on the necessary proxy and select modify in the context menu.
5. Change the necessary item(s).
   
   
   
   
6. Click OK.

3. Select Proxy => Proxy list.
4. Choose the proxy/proxies you want to duplicate and click the Duplicate button or right-click on the necessary proxy and select duplicate in the context menu.
5. Click OK.

2. Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
3. Select Proxy => Proxy list.
4. Choose the proxy/proxies** you want to delete and click the Delete button or right-click on the proxy and select delete in the context menu.
5. Click Yes if you really want to delete the proxy/proxies.
   

1. Click the Empty button or right-click in any point of proxy list and select empty.
2. If you really want to empty the proxy list, select Yes in the warning window.

1. Double-click the ProxyWay Extra tray icon or right-click the ProxyWay Extra tray icon and select the open main window item.
2. Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
3. Select Proxy => Proxy list.
4. Choose the proxy/proxies you want to export and click the Export button or right-click on the selected proxies and select export in the context menu.
5. Save proxies in *.txt or *.html files.

2. Click the Proxy button in the toolbar .
3. Select Proxy => Proxy list.
4. Click the Import button or right-click and select import in the context menu.
   For importing proxies from *.html files you can select column numbers for IP, port and country in "Update proxy list" window
   
5. Choose the file with proxies and click the "Open" button.
