ProxyWay Extra is proxy software that provides advanced proxy management system:

• Search proxies (proxy finder software) - searches for HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies on the Internet, extract proxies from different proxy lists simultaneously, searches proxies from certain country(ies) recognizes different proxy list formats, Import/export proxy list capabilities.



Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for state, speed, anonymity and location using proxy checker module.
Using "Only Proxies from Specified Countries" option you can add proxies from certain countries.



To update proxy list on a regular basis, you can use "Update proxy list" scheduler. Just set when and how often you want to run proxy list auto update.



• Check proxy (powerful proxy checker software) - multithreading proxies checking (up to 10 threads simultaneously), check proxy servers for proxy speed, proxy anonymity, proxy type (HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS), proxy location (check proxy country), using internal or external script for proxy checking.



ProxyWay Extra offers three options for HTTP proxy checking:
– to speed up proxy checking added option for checking proxies without detecting proxy geo location;
– check proxies with detecting proxy country location;
– advanced proxy checking - check proxies with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state
Note: "detecting proxy country" while proxy checking and "adding proxy country column" while proxy list updating are different independent features. So, to add information about proxy location you should select "Add proxy column" in "Update proxy list" window. But if you need more accurate proxy location information and/or you need detailed information (proxy country, state/region), we recommend you to use "Detect proxy country location" and "Detect proxy country and state/region" ProxyWay Extra features as most sites that provide proxy lists don't use up-to-date base for detecting proxy location.

If you need to check proxy list on a regular basis, you can use "Check proxy list Scheduler" option



To reduce the time of proxy checking, you can select only the necessary types of protocols and set the timeout for proxy checking in milliseconds.



• Working with CGI proxies
ProxyWay Extra is the first proxy software that improves your work with CGI proxy servers (web proxy servers). Once you configured ProxyWay to work with CGI proxies, you don't need to visit a CGI proxy web site any time you want to surf the Internet anonymously - just type the url of the web site you want to visit in your browser and you'll surf through the selected CGI proxy. Using ProxyWay you can easily work with CGI proxies - create proxy chains with CGI proxies or use CGI proxies alone, change CGI proxies (switch web proxies) manually or automatically (change CGI proxy per time, per request), import CGI proxy list or add CGI proxy to proxy list manually.

• Change HTTP header
ProxyWay Extra is proxy software that lets you change HTTP header (User-Agent and Referrer fields).
Change User-Agent - prevents visited sites from detecting the browser type and operating system you are using.
Blocking Referrer field - hides your previously viewed web pages from the web sites you visit and other outside parties.
In "Change Referrer field" area, you can select the necessary info from the combo box - Field blocked by ProxyWay Extra or Empty Referrer field. If you don't want your referrer field is changed, select "Don't change referrer field" from the combo box. If you want to enter your own referrer field information, you can select "Custom Referrer field" option and enter necessary information.
