NEW! To simlify the process of ProxyWay configuration added 'ProxyWay Auto Configuration' option. Using this option you don't need to download proxy lists, check proxies, create services and configure browser settings manually. Proxy Way will do it for you. The only one thing you should do is start surfing.
Now there are no limitations in ProxyWay Pro/Extra trial version for number of threads for proxy checking.

ProxyWay Pro - Anonymous proxy software - Overview
Anonymous internet Surfing Tools — Allows you to hide or change your real IP from the web sites you visit. Using ProxyWay Pro you can create proxy services with any number of proxy servers in the chain (supports HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5) to provide IP address security and tunnel Internet activity through proxy servers.

Proxy Finder — ProxyWay Pro allows you to search for proxies on the Internet. You only need to specify URL(s) where proxy lists are located and ProxyWay Pro will automatically find proxy information. Proxy(ies) are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for state, speed, and anonymity using proxy checker module. ProxyWay Pro "Update scheduler" lets you set the program to search, add new proxies to the proxy list and check them automatically. You can also export/import proxies to/from local files using "export proxy" and "import proxy" features.
Proxy Checker —
Choose the proxy(ies) you want to check and just click the Check button. ProxyWay Pro will automatically parse the proxy data and generate detailed information about proxy server speed, location, functionality and much more. ProxyWay Pro supports multithreaded proxy checking that allows you to check up to 5 proxies simultaneously. If "Auto check proxy" option is on, all added or modified proxies are checked automatically.
ProxyWay Pro offers two options for HTTP proxy checking:
• to speed up proxy checking added option for checking proxies without detecting proxy country
• check proxies with detecting proxy country location
Note: "detecting proxy country" while proxy checking and "adding proxy country column" while proxy list updating are different independent features. So, to add information about proxy location you should select "Add proxy column" in "Update proxy list" window. But if you need more accurate proxy location information, we recommend you to use "Detect proxy country location" feature as most sites that provide proxy lists don't use up-to-date base for detecting proxy location.
Work with CGI proxies — ProxyWay is the first proxy software that improves your work with CGI proxy servers (web proxy servers). Once you configured ProxyWay to work with CGI proxies, you don't need to visit a CGI proxy web site any time you want to surf the Internet anonymously - just type the url of the web site you want to visit in your browser and you'll surf through the selected CGI proxy. Using ProxyWay you can easily work with CGI proxies - create proxy chains with CGI proxies or use CGI proxies alone, change CGI proxies (switch web proxies) manually or automatically (change CGI proxy per time, per request), import CGI proxy list or add CGI proxy to proxy list manually.
Proxy Service manager — Lets you change proxy services per time, per connection to ensure the absolute security; automatically stop or change service if the current service is marked as bad/slow; automatically determine and remove bad proxy servers, specify proxies to be used in proxy cascade and much more.
Changing PC Info — Prevents visited sites and other third parties from detecting information about your computer. Changing "User-Agent" prevents visited sites from detecting browser type and operating system you are using. Changing "Referrer field" hides your previously viewed web pages from the web sites you visit and other outside parties.
Ads&Popup blocking — Ads&Popup blocking technology lets you block certain sites, immediately stop and kill annoying windows popups and eliminate ads. So you can customize and optimize work, speed up your web surfing experience, decrease your traffic and save valuable time and money. Blocked graphic can be replaced with images of your choice (empty, default, custom).
Cookies management
Lets you accept or reject cookies from certain web sites using special rules. Using ProxyWay Pro you can prevent web sites you visit from knowing personal information about you and ensure anonymous surfing.
History clearing —

• How can I turn on/turn off proxy settings in Internet Explorer 5.5/6.0?
To turn on proxy settings:
1. Select Tools => Internet Options.
2. Select the Connections tab.
3. If you are using LAN, click the LAN Settings button. If you are using Dial-up or Virtual Private Network connection, select the necessary connection and click the Settings button.
4. In the "Proxy Server" area, click the check box next to "Use a proxy server".
5. In fields "Address" and "port" type proxy IP and proxy port. If nessesary, enable "bypass proxy server for local addresses".
6. Click OK.
To turn off proxy settings:
1. Select Tools => Internet Options.
2. Select the Connections tab.
3. If you are using LAN, click the LAN Settings button. If you are using Dial-up or Virtual Private Network connection, click the Settings button.
4. In the "Proxy Server" area, remove the check mark next to remove the check mark next to "Use a proxy server for this connection".
