ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.
Proxy Finder module main features:

ProxyWay Extra is advanced proxy checker software that offers multithreading proxy checking (up to 10 threads simultaneously). Depending on your needs you can check proxy speed, check proxy anonymity, check proxy type (HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS), check proxy location (check proxy country, check proxy region/state)
ProxyWay Extra offers three options to check HTTP proxy servers*:
– check proxies without detecting proxy geo location to speed up proxy checking;
– check proxy list with detecting proxy country location;
– advanced proxy list checking - check proxy list with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state**
* Detecting proxy country/region/state is only available in Activated version.
** While checking proxy with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state only 1 thread is available. If you check proxy without detecting proxy location or detect only proxy country, you can use up to 10 threads.
Note: "detecting proxy country" while proxy checking and "adding proxy country column" while proxy list updating are different independent features. So, to add information about proxy location you should select "Add proxy column" in "Update proxy list" window. But if you need more accurate proxy location information and/or you need detailed information (proxy country, state/region), we recommend you to use "Detect proxy country location" and "Detect proxy country and state/region" ProxyWay Extra features as most sites that provide proxy lists don't use up-to-date base for detecting proxy location.
To reduce the time of proxy checking, you can use "Check proxies for selected protocols" option that allows you easily select only the necessary types of protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5A).
How to check proxy list
To check proxy list, choose proxy/proxies you want to check and click Check button.
If you need to check proxy list on a regular basis, you can use 'Check proxy list Scheduler'
How to check proxy list automatically
If you need to check proxy list automatically on a regular basis, you can use 'Check proxy list' scheduler option.
To turn Check Proxy List scheduler on:
Select Proxy -> Settings -> Proxy list scheduler
In 'Check proxy list' area turn Scheduler on. By default, Check Proxy list scheduler is off.
Set when and how often you want to check proxy list.
Click 'Apply' button.
How to speed up proxy checking
To speed up proxy checking, you can:
• Use "Multithread proxy check" option to check up to 10 threads simultaneously
• To reduce the time of proxy checking, you can select only necessary proxy types and set the timeout for proxy check in milliseconds.

How to check proxy location
Iif you need more accurate proxy location information and/or you need detailed information (proxy country, state/region), we recommend you to use "Check proxy country location" and "Check proxy country and state/region" option as most sites that provide proxy lists don't use up-to-date base for detecting proxy location.
ProxyWay Extra offers two options for checking proxy location:
– check proxy list with detecting proxy country location;
If you check proxy country, you can use up to 10 threads.
– advanced proxy list checking - check proxy list with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state
While checking proxy with detecting proxy country and proxy region/state only 1 thread is available.
Checking proxy country/region/state is only available in Activated version.
In program settings there is a section to check proxy lists with a secure tunnel. What is a tunnel?
"Use proxy tunnel for proxy checking and proxy list updating" option is usually used if ProxyWay is installed on the computer that doesn't have a direct access to the Internet and your software/hardware gateway doesn't support NAT. In this case you need to enter IP and port number of the computer that is used as a gateway. Software on the computer that is used as a gateway must support tunneling. If you have any problems with proxy checking, we recommend you to turn this option off and try again.
When I check proxy list, some proxy servers take too much time for checking and after that they are marked as bad
In program Settings you can decrease timeout for proxy checking. Also you can select only some types of protocols (not all) for checking. It will reduce the time for proxy list check.
