ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.

Using 'ProxyWay Auto Configuration' option you don't need to download proxy lists, check proxies, create services and configure browser settings manually. ProxyWay will do it for you.

Configure Firefox proxy settings automatically
To configure Firefox to work through proxies (enable proxy settings):
Select Proxy -> Connections and open Connections folder.
Select Firefox.
Choose the connection(s) you want to configure to work through ProxyWay.

 Note: ProxyWay automatically detects all Firefox connections each time it starts up. If there are any changes in IE connections while ProxyWay is running, use Detect button to refresh the list of connections.

Click Set ProxyWay settings button to configure selected connection(s).
To configure Firefox to work through ProxyWay without using proxies (disable proxy settings):
If you want to surf through ProxyWay without proxies (directly), you should turn Proxy module off by clicking

In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address - 127.0.0.1, port - 81
Click 'OK'
To disable proxy settings in Firefox 3.0
Select Tools -> Options.
Select Advanced.
Open the Network tab.
In 'Connections' area click 'Settings' button.
Select the No Proxy.
Click OK
To enable proxy settings in Firefox 2.x
Select Tools -> Internet Options.
Select Advanced.
Open Network tab.
In 'Connections' area click 'Settings' button.
Select Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address - 127.0.0.1, port - 81
Click 'OK'
To disable proxy settings in Firefox 2.x
Select Tools -> Internet Options.
Select Advanced.
Open Network tab.
In 'Connections' area click 'Settings' button.
Select Direct Configuration to the Internet radio button.
Click 'OK'
To enable proxy settings in Firefox 1.x
Select Tools -> Options.
Select General.
Open Network tab.
In 'Connections' area click 'Connection Settings' button.
Select Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address - 127.0.0.1, port - 81
Click 'OK'
To disable proxy settings in Firefox 1.x
Select Tools -> Internet Options.
Select Connections tab.
If you use LAN, click LAN Settings button.
If you use Dial-up or Virtual Private Network connection, select necessary connection and click Settings button.
In 'Proxy Server' area, remove the check box form Access the Internet through a proxy server.
Click 'OK'
