ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy/proxies are added to the program proxy list where they can be checked for proxy state, proxy speed, proxy location and proxy anonymity using ProxyWay Proxy Checker module.

ProxyWay Settings
 ProxyWay port
ProxyWay uses port 81 by default. Depending on the type of your request, ProxyWay directs you to the Default Service of the necessary type.
|
 Attention: If none of the required type services is marked as Default Service, ProxyWay will perform the request directly (without proxy services).

If you want to surf directly without using proxies, you can turn Proxy off by clicking on

If you change ProxyWay port, don't forget to make changes for all applications that are using ProxyWay. See How to configure applications to work through ProxyWay.

 Tip: Only advanced users are recommended to configure the program this way:
You can configure application it is addressed directly to the certain service - set Application port = Service port number.
If so:

choose the correct service type for your requests
Most program features wouldn't be performed as they are oriented on using ProxyWay port

Auto check proxy - checks all added proxies automatically
Delete bad proxies on startup - if this option is on, all bad proxies will be deleted on program start up
Use only proxies with response time less than () - this options provides an easy way to select and use proxies based on their speed. This option is useful if e.g. you need 'fast' proxies (with response less than 1000 milliseconds)
Change ProxyWay icon if not anonymous
- any default service - if this option is on (by default this option is on), ProxyWay tray icon changes to  if any of default services is not anonymous
- any service - if this option is on, ProxyWay tray icon changes to if any of services is not anonymous.
Start with Windows - select this option if you want ProxyWay starts up with Windows. By default, this option is on.
Protect ProxyWay with password - this feature allows you to protect the program from unauthorized access with password. Enter and confirm the password. Attention! You have to remember the password.
Timeout for proxy checking - using this option you can set the timeout for proxy checking in milliseconds
Check proxies for selected protocols - using this option you can select only the necessary types of protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5) for proxy checking to reduce the time of checking
