ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Change PC information
When you visit a website your browser always sends information about your OS , browser and web site/page you came from to web site you visit. This information can be used by hackers and identity thieves to know weakness of your PC so they can send virus to your PC, get access to your PC and steal personal information.
ProxyWay Extra prevents visited sites and other third parties from detecting information about your computer - you can select:
- various Operating systems (Mac OS, Linux, Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows Vista);
- browser types (Safari, Firefox, Netscape, Opera, Internet Explorer)
- referrer field information (Field blocked by ProxyWay Extra, Empty Referrer field, 'http://www.proxyway.com/' and Don't change referrer field if you don't want your referrer field is changed ).
How to hide or change information about browser type and operating system:
- Open ProxyWay Extra main window.
- Click the Privacy button
 in the toolbar.
- Select Privacy and Security -> PC Info.
- Check the Change User-Agent field option.
- Select Browser type and Operating system from the combo boxes.
- Click the Apply button.
How to change Referrer field:
- Open ProxyWay Extra main window.
- Click the Privacy button in the toolbar.
- Select Privacy and Security -> PC Info.
- In Change Referrer field area, select the necessary info from the combo box
- Field blocked by ProxyWay Extra
- Empty Referrer field
- 'http://www.proxyway.com/'.
- If you don't want your referrer field is changed, select Don't change referrer field.
If you want to enter your own referrer field information, you can select Custom Referrer field option and enter necessary information.
- Click the Apply button.
