ProxyWay Proxy Finder searches for HTTP proxy lists, HTTPS proxy lists and SOCKS (SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 with Authentication) proxies lists on the Internet. Just specify proxy web site URL(s) where proxy lists are located and Proxy Finder will automatically find proxy server information. Proxy List Filter
Using Proxy List Filter you can easily select and use only proxies you need. You may filter proxies according to their anonymity,
protocol type and country.

How to set proxy list filter
Select 'Proxy -> Proxy list'.
Select Set filter button.
Set necessary proxy list filter(s)
Click Filter button to apply selected filter(s) to proxy list.

 Tips: This doesn't remove proxies that don't match filter criteria from proxy list.
To remove all filters, just click Remove filter button. To remove some filters, you should remove check marks for filters you don't want to use. |

Select 'Proxy -> Proxy list'.

If you want to have in proxy list only proxies of certain anonymity, just put the check mark for proxy anonymity you need.

 Note: To hide/change IP address, you should use anonymous and high anonymous proxies
Tips: Unknown anonymity option may be useful if you wan to use unchecked proxies

Proxy protocol filter
If you want to have in proxy list only proxies that support certain protocol(s), just put the check mark for proxy protocol(s) you need.

Proxy country filter
If you want to have in proxy list only proxies from certain countries, just put the check mark for country(ies) you need. E.g. if you want to have UK proxies only, put the check mark for 'United Kingdom'.
Proxy response time filter
Using this filter you can easily select only proxies with certain response time. This option is very useful if you want to use only fast proxies that has response time 1000 ms and less. By default Proxy response time filter is set to 1000ms.

• I installed ProxyWay on the PC which is a part of a network (LAN) that uses a local proxy server or/and a router to access to the Internet. But I know that the local proxy server/router has an IP address and this address is visible to the world. How can I hide this IP address?
If you want to surf thru ProxyWay => your local proxy, it could be several situations:
• If your proxy server supports NAT (Network Address Translation), you should set up Default Gateway in your network card properties (You should use the IP of your local proxy server as default gateway).
In ProxyWay:
Select Proxy => Connections
Select the browser you are using and click the "Enable redirect service" button.
Note: You don't need to set up tunneling for checking and updating.
• If your proxy server doesn't support NAT but supports HTTPS or SOCKS you need:
add your local proxy server to the proxy list manually;
check it;
click the "Modify" button and select HTTPS or SOCKS protocol type (You can't select HTTP as it doesn't support tunneling);
select Proxy => Settings and select "Use proxy tunnel for proxy checking and proxy list updating";
enter IP of the computer that is used as a local proxy server, select the necessary protocol type and enter the proper port number.
You need to add your local proxy server in all proxy services on the first position.
• If your local proxy server doesn't support HTTPS, SOCKS you can't use a bundle of ProxyWay and your local proxy. But you can use only ProxyWay for your PC (if you have direct connection to the Internet(router)) or ProxyWay instead of your local proxy server.
We also recommend you to see ProxyWay Log Viewer. Using ProxyWay Log Viewer, you can track and monitor ProxyWay activities that occur while you are surfing the Internet. In logs you can see all requests and determine if you are surfing through proxies or not.
